Simple Shuffle

Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Simple Shuffle app for mobile devices and its web version at simple-shuffle.web.app (together, the "Application"), made by Wayyy Out! Games (the "Service Provider"). It explains what information the Application collects, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have.

Your account

When you first open the Application, it creates an account for you automatically, without asking for your name or email address. This account is identified by a random ID and lets the Application save your progress and place you on leaderboards.

You can choose to link your account to Google. If you do, Google shares your email address, name and profile photo with the Application's sign-in service (Firebase Authentication), so you can sign in and keep your progress on other devices. Your Google name and photo are not shown to other players.

Information the Application stores

To run the game, the Application stores the following on the Service Provider's servers, linked to your account:

  • Your username and the avatar you design
  • Your settings, such as language, difficulty, theme and sound preferences
  • Your game progress, including scores, ranks, statistics, streaks, badges, hints and the puzzles you have played
  • Your daily challenge results
  • A notification token, so the Application can send you notifications (see "Notifications" below)

Some of this information is also kept on your device so the Application works quickly and offline.

Information other players can see

Simple Shuffle has leaderboards and multiplayer games, so some information is public within the game:

  • Your username, avatar, scores and ranks appear on the global and language leaderboards, and on daily challenge results
  • During multiplayer games, other players in the game see your username, avatar and progress, and any messages you send

Chat in multiplayer games uses preset messages only, such as "Good luck" or "Well played". You cannot type your own messages. Usernames are checked for offensive language.

Multiplayer games are deleted from the Service Provider's servers about a day after they finish.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the Application uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to tell you about things like a new daily challenge. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

Analytics and crash reports

The Application uses the following services from Google to understand how it is used and to fix problems:

  • Google Analytics for Firebase records how the Application is used, such as which modes you play and when puzzles are completed, along with device and app information. It is linked to your account's random ID, not your name or email address. Google may estimate your approximate location (such as your country) from your IP address.
  • Firebase Crashlytics collects information when the Application crashes or hits an error, such as your device model, operating system version, app version and details of the error.

The Service Provider uses this information only to improve the Application. It is not used for advertising.

Other services

  • Firebase App Check and Google Play Integrity help confirm that requests come from a genuine copy of the Application, to prevent cheating and abuse.
  • Firebase Remote Config lets the Service Provider adjust some settings in the Application without an update.
  • The Application may ask you to rate it using Google Play's in-app review feature, and may check Google Play for newer versions.

These services are provided by Google. You can read how Google handles information in the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase's privacy information.

The web version

The web version uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in and to store your settings, and Google Analytics for Firebase may use cookies or similar technologies in your browser. You can clear these in your browser settings, but you may then lose an anonymous account that is not linked to Google.

How information is shared

The Service Provider does not sell your personal information and does not share it for advertising. Information is shared only:

  • With Google, which provides the services described above on the Service Provider's behalf
  • With other players, as described in "Information other players can see"
  • Where required by law, or to protect the safety of players and the Application

Google may process information on servers outside your country.

How long information is kept

Your account information is kept for as long as you have an account. Analytics and crash information is kept by Google for a limited period, after which it is deleted.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile in the Application. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, username, game progress, history, leaderboard entries and daily challenge results, and removes you from any multiplayer games in progress. This cannot be undone.

If you cannot access the Application, you can ask for your account to be deleted by contacting the Service Provider at support@wayyyoutgames.com.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your personal information, and to object to or restrict how it is used. You can delete your account in the Application at any time, and you can contact the Service Provider to exercise any of these rights. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. The Service Provider does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Children

The Application is not directed at children under 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the Application, please contact the Service Provider and the account will be deleted.

Security

The Service Provider uses reasonable measures to protect your information, such as access rules that stop players from reading or changing each other's private data. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Changes

The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy, for example when the Application gains new features. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and significant changes will be highlighted in the Application or its store listing.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-10-30
