Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the Simple Ludo app for mobile devices (the "Application"), made by Wayyy Out! Games (the "Service Provider").

By downloading, accessing or using the Application, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. How the Application handles your information is explained in the Privacy Policy.

License to use the Application

The Service Provider grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Application for your own non-commercial use.

You may not copy or modify the Application, any part of it, or its trademarks. You may not attempt to extract the Application's source code, reverse engineer or decompile it, translate it, or make derivative versions, except where the law allows this.

The Application, including its name, logo, artwork and all related intellectual property, belongs to the Service Provider, except as described in "Artwork and sounds" below.

Your account

The Application creates a guest account for you automatically, and you may sign in with Google to keep it. You are responsible for activity on your account. If you do not sign in with Google, your account cannot be recovered: if you uninstall the Application, clear its data or change devices, your name, stats and trophies are lost. Saved games in progress stay on the device they were played on, whether or not you sign in.

You can sign out or delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the Application.

Your name

You choose your own name, and it is shown to other players online. It must not be offensive, hateful, sexual or threatening, must not pretend to be someone else, and should not be your full real name. The Service Provider may change or remove names that break these rules.

Reactions

Online games include quick reactions, short phrases chosen from a fixed list, for the players in that game. There is no free-text chat. You agree not to use reactions to harass other players or to spam them. The host of a game can mute players' reactions, and the Service Provider may suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.

Fair play

To keep the game fair and fun for everyone, you agree not to:

• •Cheat, including by using modified versions of the Application, scripts or other tools that play for you or give you an unfair advantage
• •Exploit bugs, or interfere with or disrupt the Application, its servers or other players
• •Use more than one account to manipulate games, stats or reputation

The Service Provider may end games, reset stats, or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.

Online games

Rolls and moves in online games are decided by the Service Provider's servers. If you leave a game, or do not take your turn in time, a computer player may take your seat. Games that nobody plays for a while are ended. The Service Provider may change how online games work, or correct or end games, for example to fix errors or remove cheating.

Stats, trophies and unlocked items

Stats, reputation, trophies, and the dice, boards and kente they unlock are part of the game. They have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money, and may be adjusted or reset. They are lost if your account is deleted.

Artwork and sounds

Avatar illustrations are based on Open Peeps by Pablo Stanley. Sound effects are from Zapsplat. Fonts and icons are used under their open licences, listed in the Application's settings.

Free to use

The Application is free to use and has no ads. If the Service Provider ever charges for the Application or any part of it, it will make clear exactly what you are paying for before you pay anything.

Availability and updates

The Application is currently available for Android through Google Play. The Service Provider may update the Application, add, change or remove features, or change the devices it supports. Older versions may stop working, and you may need to install an update to keep using the Application. Online games need an internet connection, and your mobile network's data charges apply.

The Service Provider does not promise that the Application will always be available, uninterrupted or compatible with your device, and may stop offering it at any time.

Disclaimer

The Application is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, the Service Provider makes no warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service Provider is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Application, including loss of saved games, stats or trophies. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

Termination

You can stop using the Application at any time, and you can delete your account from the Profile screen. The Service Provider may suspend or end your access to the Application if you break these Terms. When your access ends, you must stop using the Application.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

The Service Provider may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using the Application after an update, you accept the updated Terms.
